What is Sustainability and Why Should You Care?

It's in your own best interest

A short writing sample I prepared for a job application that draws a little from my discussion of the topic in my doctoral thesis. The aim is essentially to make a case for sustainability that doesn't rest on the power of a global/external normative injunction, thereby aligning present expense with perceived personal benefit - a libertarian argument for sustainability, in a sense.
